With Psi, you "install" it by copying libgstprovider.so into /usr/lib/psi/plugins/, and this is described in Psi's Readme. If you are packaging for a distro, I suggest choosing one of two approaches: 1) Make a package called psi-plugin-media (or whatever naming scheme is consistent with your distro for plugin packages) that contains /usr/lib/psi/plugins/libgstprovider.so 2) Put libgstprovider.so into the psi package.
