But I have a bit another opinion on what to do with UI. I'd like programmers to specify a generic XML for user interface and XSLT it to a platform-specific XMLs. This way we can easier alter program behavior on different platforms and introduce new levels of abstraction later (like changing Control modifier to a more apropriate Command one, or, as you said, implementing an alient plant control for another platform and using it natively in the native one (like SearchBar in Mac OS X)).

But we'll need a callback then.
I don't know if we can survive without JavaScript or Python this way.</description>
